- Suzanne Wasserman, filmmaker; Director, Gotham Center for NYC History/CUNY Graduate Center
- Elissa Sampson, Ph.D candidate in Urban Geography, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; long-time resident of the Lower East Side
